Additional Notes:

  • There is a very large local market for the project's Distillers Grains with over 400,000 dairy cows in Western New York.

  • The WNYE plant will provide fuel Ethanol to the 500 million gallon annual New York and Connecticut Ethanol markets.

  • The WNYE facility will have the ability to receive unit trains of corn from the Midwest as well as receive local corn from Western New York farmers.

  • When production begins in November, the plant will be the first green-field (new construction) ethanol plant in the northeast Unites States.
