RECEPTIONIST

NATURE OF WORK: Receptionist for the Administration office of Western New York Energy, LLC

Requirements:

Essential Responsibilities and Duties of Receptionist

  • Answer all incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
  • Greet and direct visitors
  • Proficient in screening and forwarding calls to the appropriate department
  • Data entry
  • Prepare letters and mailings using mail merge
  • Filing
  • Organize and prepare for group tours of the facility
  • General clerical support

Qualifications

  • Excellent phone and verbal skills
  • Excellent written skills including drafting letters and other correspondence
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to details required
  • Ability to work well with others and ability to work independently

Education and Experience

  • High School/GED Diploma required
  • Demonstrated competencies
  • Good overall computer skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office a plus Ė especially Outlook and Excel

COMMODITY HANDLER

NATURE OF WORK: Operates and maintains machinery and equipment necessary in the loading and unloading of ethanol, wet & dry distillers and corn.

Requirements:

Essential Responsibilities and Duties of Commodity Handler

  • Inspect corn received to ensure that it meets company standards.
  • Assist in Scale Room with weighing trucks in/out, testing corn per company standards.
  • When necessary, directing truckers to the proper location for loading/unloading within the plant facility.
  • Timely loading and unloading of ethanol, distillerís grains and other products by railcar and truck.
  • Proper completion of all records related to the products loaded for shipment from the plant site.
  • Submit Work Requests when appropriate.
  • Housekeeping as related, but not limited to the cleanliness and orderly organization of all areas that pertain to your duties.
  • Keep current on the status of all operating equipment.
  • Maintain rolling stock including loaders, railcar mover, and skid steer. Checking fluid levels, greasing, lubricating and re-fueling.
  • Inspect equipment for defects, cracks, breaks, tires, etc. according to the designated schedule issued by maintenance and document the inspection results.
  • Grease and check oil levels in grain receiving area at the designated schedule issued by maintenance.
  • Frequent communication with the scale operator and operations department.
  • Other duties as may be assigned to accomplish the safe and timely day-to-day operations within the plant.

  • Experience with loading equipment
  • Workexperience and/or equivalent experience of 2 years in core essential responsibilities and duties

ETHANOL PLANT OPERATOR

NATURE OF WORK

Under general supervision, performs work of routine ethanol production operations and related duties. Monitors process operating parameters and maintains them within specified parameters. Maintains logs and records. Performs sampling activities and conducts laboratory testing procedures. Operates powered industrial equipment. Participates in plant maintenance program, performs flushings, cleanings and lubrications. They must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Have a valid NYS driverís license. Have a high school/GED diploma.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Monitors computer systems for safe and efficient operation
  • Keeps records
  • Performs sampling activities and conducts laboratory test procedures as required by the QA program and procedures
  • Communicates with Laboratory Supervisor to ensure effective participation in the implementation of QA policies and procedures
  • Operates equipment, including forklifts and scissors lift
  • Monitors use and inventories of process chemicals and supplies
  • May assist with system installation, inspection and repair
  • Maintains equipment
  • Deals with system breakdowns and emergencies
  • Participates in programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness
  • Participates in safety, health and environmental programs
  • Works in a safe manner at all times
  • Performs related tasks as requested by management
